In June 2019, I travelled to Namibia. With an arranged tour guide, I covered approximately 3,500 miles of this beautiful country over 12 days. The people in Namibia are extremely friendly. The country was very well maintained. The ability to see wildlife just driving around was high. The tour started in the capital city of Windhoek. Not laying out every place I visited, but it included Sossusvlei, Namib Dessert, Dune 45, Namib-Naukluft Park, Welwitchia mirabilis, Fur Seal Colony, and Etosha National Park. I was able to meet some of the women and children of the Himba tribe. The men had travelled with the animals to find water and food. The use of nature by the Himba tribe is a reminder of the simplicity and yet complexity of life. I was fortunate with all the wildlife I was able to see at Etosha including the ghost elephant, cheetah, and pretty close to a lion.
